Sounds of Nature Wellness Retreat
Frequently Asked Questions
What should I bring?
-
Yoga mat if you have one (extra mats are available if you don’t)
-
Comfortable clothing – We recommend casual attire. We will be doing yoga on our first day in the afternoon, so feel free to arrive in your yoga clothes! Other suggestions are joggers, comfortable jeans, and layers like tanks and sweatshirts to accommodate varying temperatures. We are planning evening outdoor campfires, so bring a jacket and hat for cooler nights.
-
Swimming suit for the sauna and cold plunge.
-
Alcohol is not provided so if you would like an adult beverage in the evening, feel free to bring your own. We just ask that it is consumed in moderation so that you can benefit fully from the daily events and all this retreat has to offer. Please note, no glass is allowed down by the beach.
-
Retrospec bikes are available and free to use at the resort. You can also rent an e-bike or scooter for a daily fee. We are located right along the Paul Bunyon State Trail that is fully paved. Cruise the trail and explore for miles – or take it 2 miles northwest where you will find Downtown Nisswa.
-
Kayaks are also available to use for free.
-
You are welcome to bring your own bikes, kayak or paddleboard if you prefer.
Can I extend my stay for the retreat?
Absolutely, Naturelink has many room options from a hotel room to group cabins. If you would like to arrive early to stay longer, please contact Naturelink directly to book additional nights.
Can I still book a massage even if I did not do that on my intake form?
Yes, please let us know if you would like to book a service with Michelle. I will provide the list to her and she will schedule you a time upon your arrival. https://.aestheticsbycathyjo.com/spa-services-with-michelle (please note that the massage services are an additional cost and paid directly to your provider)
